Emergency 000 Theme

This theme was in 3 parts! First we had a very special visit from a Senior Constable Police officer who told us all about what the Police do and then we all got to dust for our own finger prints and have a go with some handcuffs! Then it was off to hospital in our ambulance where funnily enough lots off the kids decided to give birth to what ever toy they brought on the day. We then had follow up nurse appointments for their babies who all needed their immunisations and Band-Aids on! I love that the kids decide and we just go with it! Learning about what to do in case of a fire and what number to call was important too. They all took it in turns to ring the pretend operator and told the operator their address. The photo below shows our fighter fighters arriving to an emergency camp fire that got out of control!
