Head Trainer and Authentic Women founder Lisa has over 16 years of experience. Any nerves will be put at ease as soon as you speak to Lisa. She’s bubbly, caring and a complete chatterbox!

1 on 1 Personal Training

If you’re looking for more support and specific training to achieve your goals, 1 on 1 Personal Training sessions are a great option. 

For many of us, starting or resuming any exercise program can feel intimidating. We totally get that. At AW, part of our mission statement is to provide a place where all participants can enjoy their sessions in a completely judgment-free zone.

No matter if you have special needs, are self-conscious about your size, shape, age and fitness level, sexual orientation, are questioning, transgender or transitioning, we’re here to work with you. And that means providing a respectful, non-judgemental space where our PT programs incorporate not only your goals, but also your needs. 

Why Personal Training?

You might consider PT for any number of reasons, including:

  • Rehab/building strength back after an injury or accident

  • Improving strength + flexibility (building strength can be especially important for clients prone to low muscle tone)

  • Specific functional training to promote essential daily movements with ease, say for those with chronic arthritis

  • A stepping stone to eventually joining group sessions as your confidence + build fitness

  • Keeping up with your kids or grandkids

She’s bubbly, caring and a complete chatter box! Lisa goes the extra mile to help with home programs, consulting with physicians on how best to support your injury / recovery and keep you pain free while planning sessions specifically to suit your goals.

Lisa prides herself on delivering the most enjoyable and beneficial sessions possible. To achieve this she’ll ask you loads of personal questions, as she genuinely wants to know her clients in a way that will most benefit them. After just a few sessions, you’ll feel like you’re coming to workout with a friend. Sure Lisa’s more one of those firm, but fair and bossy friends, but that’s what she’s there for.
